Program Design/Assessment & Pilot Implementation
Plan, execute, review, revise. We are pretty smart, but we know that there is much to be learned each and every time you are designing and implementing programs. We harness years of experience to start off on solid ground, but our eyes and minds are wide open to allow for nimble course corrections (for that occasional gust of wind that can blow you off course).
PROJECT EXAMPLES
Consumer Technology Association: The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) serves as an advocate for forward-thinking innovators and producers in the consumer technology industry. CTA wanted to ensure that the e-scrap extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs in Illinois, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maine were accurately reporting the electronics collected and recycled.
Conduct Series of Evaluations on Tracking/Reporting Practices
Reviewed State-level Policies
Interviewed Key Stakeholders in State Agencies, Local Governments, Major Collectors and Recyclers, and Manufacturers
Mapped Flow of Materials from Collection Points through Downstream Recycling
Discussed Policy Implications for E-Waste Recycling in Each State
This work was conducted by Resa Dimino and team with RRS.
Pharmaceutical Take-Back: Developed policies, programs, and legislation for take-back of unwanted medications. Highlights of several client projects include recruiting early pharmacy participants to pilot medicine take-back in Washington state, drafting and testifying for Washington’s first nation producer responsibility medicine take-back law, and designing secret shopper campaigns to assess take-back programs.
